Senator Trump moved to amend the bill by striking out the title and substituting therefor a new title, to read as follows:

Eng. House Bill No. 4473 -- H. B. 4473 -- A BILL to amend and reenact §6B‑2B-1, §6B-2B-2 §6B-2B-3 and §6B-2B-4 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, all relating to the use of a public official’s name or likeness on items or in materials produced using public funds; defining terms; providing that a public official’s name or likeness may be included in certain educational materials and press releases produced using public funds; providing that a public official’s name or likeness may appear on an agency’s website or social media for certain purposes; and clarifying that items or materials that are paid for by a public official’s campaign funds are not subject to restrictions on items or materials produced using public funds.
